From the 1st October every retailer in Wales will be charging 5p for single use carrier bags. This is a great move by the Welsh government and we at W(h)ales Bags are all for it! Let's hope that it reduces the number of bags given out. If people are made to pay, even a small amount, perhaps they will remember their reusable bags.
